Electrical Engineer : Leicester

Our client has been established for almost 30 years and specialise in the manufacture, installation and service of a range of thermal management solutions to an impressive range of customers throughout the UK and Europe and for a diverse range of applications and industry sectors.
As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth for 2024 and beyond, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to complement their professional team and support them in the design and development of a portfolio of solutions including air blast coolers, water heat exchangers and recirculation chillers.
It is envisaged that the successful Electrical Engineer candidate will be realistically qualified to at least HND or above in a relevant engineering discipline (electrical, instrumentation and controls, mechatronics or similar) and be able to demonstrate at least 3 years or more experience of performing electrical design and development activities within an engineering manufacturing environment.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be experienced in creating Electrical schematics, ideally using AutoCAD Electrical, and possess practical experience of wiring and developing machines as well as of working with associated controllers and PLCs and being able to capture and analyse test data as required.
Additionally you will demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels (both written and verbal) and possess a positive can:do attitude with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a Leicester based team when required, and often within a pressurised environment.
