What You’ll Do

Carry out work as a Building Services Engineer on Mechanical Building Service Systems maintenance, including HVAC

Organise and oversee any electrical related work, utilising subcontractors for delivery, both within and outside of operating hours

Manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Organise maintenance schedules and present information to client in a written form

Have the confidence and ability to liaise with client, landlord teams and sub contractors in a professional manner

Address reactive maintenance issues as they arise and also plan and deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance Programmes

Work to a 1 week in 2 weeks call out Rota to deal with out of hours emergency responses

Lead and supervise a small but dedicated engineering team

Oversee document management, risk assessments, and provide administrative support to site leadership.

Undertake authorized person duties and troubleshoot system malfunctions efficiently.

Deputize for the Engineering Manager during absences and support site operations.

What You Bring

18th Edt electrical qualification

Strong knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance, and mechanical systems, including HVAC, BMS

Ability to take lead in delivering Building Maintenance programmes

Proficiency in IT systems, MS Office, with excellent organizational abilities (you will be using scheduling software)

A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with strong familiarity with health & safety regulations
