Job Description
To be accountable to the Estates Planning & Utilisation Manager (NB Estates), for the Space Management function by ensuring the effective use of HMNB(D) estate portfolio to enable business outputs to be achieved effectively. Support to acquisition, development, use and disposal of land, property, equipment, space and accommodation within the HMNB(D) portfolio.
Manage the operational and tactical use of space within the NB Estate, working with Industry Partners, Babcock and Mitie, to ensure optimal use of space on the Devonport site.
Monitor and hold to account our Industry Partner and their contractors to meet the Infrastructure Support requirements, providing the Authority’s Intelligent Customer function and oversight through the FMSP governance process.
Ensure requirements are delivered and design intent maintained to meet operational demands through effective asset management, including the development of long-term strategic plans.

Essential: Minimum UK Regulated Qualification Framework – Level 3 qualification, preferably in a related subject to the role or extensive relevant experience at the discretion of the Deputy Head.
Desirable: Asset/Facilities Management related discipline or willing to work towards an appropriate qualification within 6 months of taking up position.
