What you'll do:

As an IT Systems Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting business processes within the System Management Team. Your responsibilities will span across various areas including system administration, security administration, project contribution, and liaison with key stakeholders. You will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of systems while also managing data safely. Your role as a Security Administrator will involve planning and executing system access control measures along with organising IT security training for users. You will also support senior management in their roles while taking on additional duties as required.

* Support business process planning in System Management Team of Business Application Team.
* Manage and maintain systems in System Management Team of Business Application Team.
* Contribute to project work which may involve some business analysis.
* Liaise with IT Management, Branch and SMTB users, ITIFS, Head Office and outside parties.
* Administrate, maintain and manage systems as a System Administrator.
* Carry out system operation, maintenance and management under the supervision of System Administrator as a System Operator.
* Plan and carry out system access control including organizing IT security training for users as a Security Administrator.
* Carry out system account creation, change and deletion under the supervision of Security Administrator as a Security Operator.
* Support the Assistant Manager of Business Processing Group and the Head of IT.
* Carry out other duties as requested by the Assistant Manager of Business Application Team, Head of IT or the General Manager.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the IT Systems Support Officer role will be educated to degree level and have extensive experience in supporting systems and applications across various areas. You will be confident in dealing with traders and middle office across multiple asset classes, and familiar with the trade, static and market data required in trade flow. Your understanding of banking services and operational processes will be complemented by your experience in supporting a complex .NET application suite and SQL Server environments. Your ability to implement code changes in .NET, SQL, Python, and PowerShell will be crucial. You will also possess strong problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills, and a proactive attitude.

* Educated to degree level
* Experience in supporting systems & applications across all areas front to back including (but not limited to) systems used for Trade Capture, Middle & Back Office operations, Static & Market data capture and distribution, Risk, PnL.
* Confidence in dealing with traders and middle office across multiple asset classes (FX, Futures, Rates, OTC Derivatives etc)
* Understanding of banking services and operational processes
* Experience in supporting a complex .NET application suite and SQL Server environments
* Ability to implement code changes in .NET, SQL, Python, and PowerShell
* Fault diagnosis and problem-solving skills
* Good interpersonal skills and a pro-active attitude.
* Self-motivation with an interest to pick up new skills and areas of work.
