Role Overview

As a brand, our mission is to unite the conditioning community, and for the first time ever, we’ll be doing this in a permanent retail space. 

As a Personal Shopper of Gymshark London, you will be vital in shaping and maintaining what our community feel online, in real life. 

Our store will behave in a way that’s totally unique to Gymshark. Our community and customers are our ‘family’, so we treat them as such. We don’t care if they buy, browse or just hang out. What matters is providing a safe space where everyone belongs and feels welcome. 

To smash this role, you’ll need to have the above mindset, and be someone that your team looks to for inspiration and guidance. You’ll be responsible for supporting all elements of our unique and disruptive impact, working closely with our HQ teams, collaborating, ideating and making sure that our physical offering is always evolving. 

As a Personal Shopper in our flagship store you are a brand ambassador – ensuring that our community has the most incredible Gymshark experience. Working with your team, you will use your positive energy and sense of fun to build a welcoming and inclusive environment. Creating community is your number one priority. You will build authentic connections with visitors to your store, helping to educate them about conditioning and inspiring them to be their personal best. Combining your excellent product knowledge, operational best practice and technological flair, you will offer a best-in-class service, helping our community to shop how they want, and when they want.   



What You’ll be doing:  

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a retail/sales environment
  • Driver of exceptional customer service using positive language, clear communication, effective listening
  • Additional languages spoken would be a bonus
  • Confident in approaching and building relationships with the community. Going above and beyond in catering to individual needs (personal, cultural) by remaining adaptive and attentive
  • Passionate about styling whilst aware of current trends within both the brand and industry
  • Attention to detail - making suggestions that are in line with a customer's vision, according to their needs
  • Driven to learn all things product - delivering information and answering questions about our product
  • Ability to work collaboratively in both a smaller and wider team
  • Capable and confident in working in a fast-paced environment whilst balancing multiple requests
  • Driven to achieve and exceed team KPIs


Duties

  • Meeting customers who’ve booked an appointment
  • Getting to know customers’ likes, dislikes and budget
  • Select products or services that fulfil customers’ needs
  • Build, maintain and develop a rapport with our community
  • Finding potential walk-in customers on the shop floor during appointment-free periods
  • Fulfilling admin duties, such as tracking and sending over KPIs and appointment notes
  • Ensuring the 121 Shopping space is fully stocked and tidy
  • Maintaining deep brand and product awareness, supporting the wider team with product education as experts
  • Bonus languages: Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese
