Job Description

In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking an Employee Relations (ER) Consultant to bring fresh insights and expertise to our People department.

Role Overview

With an overarching goal to provide professional, comprehensive, business focused and timely ER advice to key stakeholders in the business, this role at Carnival UK takes ownership over a high volume of complex caseloads, supporting and coaching managers, both within the shore-based and fleet teams, balancing risk to the business with proposed solutions.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Providing expert guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practice to ensure compliance and fairness
  • Investigating and resolving complex employee relations issues, including disputes, grievances and disciplinary matters

You will need:

  • A sound, up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation
  • A CIPD level 5 qualification or comprehensive ER experience
  • To demonstrate creative problem solving; comfortable and effective at negotiating and influencing and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to quickly build rapport and profile within the business as a trusted ER expert

This role is a CUK09 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
