Job Description
Part time Veterinary Surgeon role for 20 – 30 hours with flexible options available allowing you a better work life balance paying up to £60,000 (FTE, DOE)
We have a new opportunity at our Burton Vets4Pets surgery for an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and energetic team on a full-time basis.
This role will be around 20 - 30 hours per week, with scheduled paid lunch breaks. Family friendly rota can be discussed and agreed.
You would be joining a team of 3 vets with interests in imaging and one undergoing an advanced practice certificate. You will also be fully supported by a team of 3 experienced RVN's offering a supportive and friendly working environment. The team are strong, and all share the same commitment and passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare. Your team will also include 4 admin colleagues. The team work to self-written values and goals centred on patient & client care, strong teamwork and commerciality.
You will be an experienced and registered Veterinary Surgeon, confident in all basic aspects of the role, including strong communication and organisational skills. As a team, we strive to provide the best pet care services. We can also consider New Graduate Vets.
Our surgery is in a great location, close to a great selection of local shops, bars and restaurants with Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham are all within a half hours drive.

- Fantastic salary up to £60,000 (DOE, FTE)
- You are joining a stable practice with very low turn over with most staff having worked in practice for over 8 years
- This role is due to growth of the practice offering you lots of opportunity for development
- Complete clinical freedom
- Ideally you will have a passion for surgery
- Will involve sole charge on a Saturday worked on 1.4 but no Sundays or OOH
- CPD and certificates will be supported and are highly encouraged, to aid in driving both your professional and personal development!
