Technology Development Manager

We are seeking an experience technology project manager to oversee and manage the team of 5 in the undertaking of scheduled operations, development and maintenance work to deliver business benefits from software solutions.

You will provide strong leadership skills to support, develop and coach people in terms of setting and managing personal targets and developmental goals alongside growing technical and business skills.

Alongside this we need you to embed best practice processes for the global implementation, development and maintenance of the Macmillan D365 solution and contribute to its successful implementation.

You will bring with you experience in managing delivery of Dynamics 365 and all that entails from the integration through to managing third party relationships and with a thorough understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem.

It goes without saying that you will need to be an excellent communicator and be able to build relationships with people at all levels of the organisation.

The position is 35 hours per week worked between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Macmillan Distribution (MDL) is the award-winning distribution arm of the Macmillan Publishing Group. MDL provides a distribution service for its own Group publishers as well as distribution services to over 40 third party publishers. The commercial operations are based in Basingstoke and the warehouse in Swansea ensures a smooth operation of receiving, storing and distributing an extensive range of books, handling over 40,000 titles.
