The post holder will lead, manage, and support the mental health multidisciplinary team, the ESS team and the Perinatal lead within HMP Peterborough ensuring the delivery of high quality, effective and efficient services to patients using a trauma informed model within HMP Peterborough

The post holder will lead on developing integrated pathways to support a seamless service delivery built around the patient’s needs.

The post holder will be based at HMP Peterborough and will need to go through the clearance process.

The post holder will provide leadership for the mental health team, ESS service and Perinatal lead, including the implementation of systems and processes that will support service delivery and staff within the team.

Have oversight and accountability of the perinatal mental health pathway for women in the prison referred for mental health needs that are pregnant or 12 months post-partum

The post holder will facilitate the dissemination and implementation of policies to ensure governance is firmly embedded within the team.

The post holder will provide line management and clinical leadership within the team.

The post holder will actively seek out and disseminates information, governance, best practice, and knowledge that support the development of service delivery, ensuring clinical innovation and quality.
