Senior Wordings Specialist, Property, Casualty and Crisis Management (PCCM)

Do you have an in depth knowledge of policy wordings within the PCCM environment gained ideally from a broking environment but also potentially from within Legal, Claims or Underwriting sectors too ?

What The Day Will Look Like

This role is within the Casualty Practice of PCCM and will sit across our global business portfolio. The lines of business within the Practice are International and US Casualty, Product Recall, Healthcare and the Digital Economy business.

  • As a Senior Wordings Specialist, you’ll review, negotiate, and agree on wordings documentation in a timely and professional manner, aligning with the best market practices and client needs.
  • You’ll help to ensure that wordings are unambiguous and concise, and you’ll take ownership of rejected wordings, working closely with brokers and clients to resolve technical issues until final agreement.
  • You will play a major part with tender activity to review wording documentation incorporated within the client submission
  • You will also be involved in the servicing and development of our product portfolio by ensuring the facility wordings are in the optimum possible position
  • Development of cross-team and internal relationships together with extensive internal collaboration in the delivery of special projects to support our brokers in the implementation of tailored client solutions.

  • Strong experience knowledge of wordings and technical requirements relating to London Market placements, combined with an open and commercial approach
  • Proven technical appreciation of client needs and the Insurance Market
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding industry networking skills and knowledge
  • Strong team-working capabilities, including the ability to positively influence outcomes
  • Able to prioritise workload, lead projects and complete tasks within timescales
