We now have an opportunity to join our fantastic R&D division. Using your high level project management skills, you will manage NPD and EPD projects to expand our award-winning product portfolio. You will lead and co-ordinate the completion of projects from the initial concept all the way to final launch, mapping critical path timelines and overcoming any and all obstacles to ensure we meet tight deadlines.
A positive and can-do attitude is integral to this role, along with the ability to rally the team and keep colleagues in high spirits regardless of any challenges ahead.
This is a hybrid role and you will be based in our brand new Innovation Centre in Aylesbury (HP22 5WJ). You will report to the Head of R&D Project Delivery and be part of a wider project team of 9.

Key responsibilities:
- Develops, presents and delivers the most efficient plan of action to support full delivery of strategic product pipeline.
- Identifies solutions to project blockers, prioritises and manages project resources to resolve issues and conflicts.
- Facilitate commercial assessments of new products and during post-launch analysis.
- Owns the project timeline and holds the cross-functional team accountable to deliver on time, on budget and in agreed quality.
- Ensure all product launches follow agreed processes and are supported by necessary documentation.
- Ensures issues and risks are proactively identified and brought to the attention of the cross-functional project team for mitigation or resolution.
- Escalates project risks to the Head of R&D Project Delivery for visibility and support in resolution when needed.
- Communicates risks effectively to the business and Senior Stakeholders to enable informed and timely decision making.
- Leads project meetings efficiently with the ability to ask the right questions that will break down complex problems into a clear set of actions.
- Portfolio of projects can include: NPD/EPD, Margin Improvement, Regulatory Compliance, Sustainability, amongst others.
- Considerable experience in a similar role with a strong manufacturing exposure.
- Extensive project management skills.
- A clear understanding of New Product Development processes and a passionate, energetic and self-driven attitude to make things happen.
- Experience in managing the Stage Gate process.
- Experience in deadline-driven environments with the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
- A positive Team Leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sharp attention to detail, and a passion for producing high-quality work and continuous improvement.
- A hands-on, practical approach to creating innovative solutions.
- Operates with integrity and transparency to drive decisions through facts and data.
- A growth mindset with the ability to adapt to change and continuously seek improvement.
