The Role
Position: Senior EHS Consultant / Principal EHS Consultant (m/f/d)
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
Location: Nationwide, UK (Hybrid)
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Consultant to join a dynamic and growing consultancy team.
In this role, you will provide expert advice and consultancy services across a variety of sectors, ensuring that clients meet their Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels, delivering tailored solutions and ensuring compliance with key standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
This position offers the opportunity to work on both short and long-term projects with clients across the UK, providing exposure to a broad range of industries, with occasional travel and the flexibility of a home-based role.

Key Responsibilities
- Consultancy Services: Lead and deliver high-quality EHS consultancy services, including risk assessments, compliance audits, and fire risk assessments.
- Project Management: Oversee the successful delivery of consultancy projects, ensuring that client expectations and high standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Client Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing guidance and support to address their Health, Safety, and Environmental needs.
- ISO Implementation: Assist clients with the implementation of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, ensuring compliance and continual improvement.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports, proposals, and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to clients.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of consultancy services, offering insights for improving internal processes and client offerings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
Requirements
- Qualifications:
- Graduate IOSH membership with up-to-date CPD.
- Practitioner IEMA membership.
- EHS auditor qualifications, ideally lead auditor status.
- Experience: Proven experience in delivering EHS consultancy services, particularly in multi-site environments and across various sectors.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, and the ability to conduct risk assessments and compliance audits.
- Skills: Excellent project management skills, strong communication abilities, and a demonstrated capacity to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Travel: Willingness to travel across the UK, with potential international opportunities, and occasional overnight stays.
