SENIOR CHARGE NURSE, BAND 7
A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Charge Nurse to lead and further develop these skilled and dedicated teams.
PAC and OMFS deliver services across NWH and PRI with a hardworking team who focus on person centred care at all points of the patient journey.
Working closely with medical colleagues these areas have a demonstrable culture of innovation, improvement and education. We strive to improve patient experience and involvement in their care.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of Quality Improvement and be committed to developing service delivery and driving change.
You will influence the standards that we practice to and ensure that patient safety is at the forefront of everything that we do.
You will be expected to ensure that a high quality standard of care is delivered and will assist to develop and review policies and procedures, in conjunction with audit and assurance compliance.
You must be educated to graduate level and be working at Charge Nurse Level or equivalent with proven experience leading a team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential to this role which is pivotal within the Multi Disciplinary Team.
Personal qualities should include a passion for enhancing person centred care delivery and a commitment to team working.
Evidence of opportunities where you have directly influenced or developed nursing practice is essential.
