Contract type: Full time
Here at Severn Trent, our Technology mission is simple – we deliver and maintain secure and stable IT services, which maximises value to our business.

Our teams are always interested in learning new, innovative, and exciting ways for us to aid our business colleagues, and ultimately our customers experience.
Collectively, we provide a critical national infrastructure to millions of customers in our region, so the only question is… why wouldn't you want to be part of that?
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have an opportunity for a Scrum Master to join our team on a permanent basis.
Whilst we primarily use an agile delivery methodology, we also apply other project delivery techniques, so we’ll be looking for you to have practical experience of different project management methods and proven experience of working to Agile principles.
You’ll need to be passionate about inspiring, coaching, and motivating team members to deliver, whilst also having robust stakeholder management skills that will enable you to remove obstacles and influence the continued effectiveness of the cross functional team.
The role of Scrum Master is really varied, with many key responsibilities. Some of them will include:
You’ll need to have experience with Agile toolsets, as well as experience in an Agile culture that includes joint team outcomes, empowerment, servant leadership, commitments, and drives an increased level of Agile maturity. Practical experience of alternative project management methodologies will be essential too.
As our new Scrum Master, you’ll also have strong commercial savviness, which will help when looking at the control of budgets, helping ensure the value we set out to deliver justifies the investment.
The right skills and experience are important. But if you have the right character, positivity, and a caring attitude we want to talk to you too.
We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We want people who show up and get involve. Those who are ready to be part of something bigger and who want to make a difference because they care.
Is that you?
