Position Overview
Responsibilities
As a Secondary Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to ignite a passion for science in students aged 11-16. Your responsibilities will include:
Compliance and Right to Work:All applicants will need to complete compliance checks for safeguarding, including reference checks, a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, and verification of qualifications.
Valid right-to-work documents are required, including visas and share codes where necessary.
We are committed to safeguarding children. Each applicant will be expected to undertake compliance checks including Prohibited list, Barred list, DBS and Qualifications.

Responsibilities
As a Secondary Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to ignite a passion for science in students aged 11-16. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and interactive science lessons across all key disciplines—biology, chemistry, and physics—making each topic relatable and exciting.
- Encouraging students to ask questions, conduct experiments, and engage in scientific inquiry.
- Utilizing a variety of hands-on learning activities and innovative teaching strategies to help students grasp complex scientific concepts.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback and support tailored to individual learning needs.
- Fostering an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels inspired, valued, and motivated to excel.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in a Science-related field (biology, chemistry, physics, or a general science qualification).
- Strong classroom management abilities and a knack for creating a positive learning atmosphere.
- A genuine passion for science education and a commitment to sparking students' interest in scientific exploration.
- Experience with differentiated instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
