Join us as a Business & Customer Controls Risk Reporting Manager
Working with a wide range of business stakeholders, you’ll interpret risk and control data, enabling management to identify key trends and manage improving or deteriorating risk profiles. You’ll also produce and analyse MI to support risk committees and boards, as well as maintaining and developing reporting and analysis tools to support the reporting of the business risk profile. You’ll be working with business as usual framework and capability teams by providing insights, tracking of data, and correcting exceptions.

Join us as a Business & Customer Controls Risk Reporting Manager
- Experience of working on fast paced regulatory impacted remediations
- If you have a background in risk management, then join our team in helping to anticipate and assess the potential impacts of risk across the bank
- We’ll look to you to create meaningful, value-added risk reporting for functions or franchise key committees, forums and dashboards, as well as leading a team to produce insightful, actionable analysis of our risk profile
- Hone your risk management capabilities and advance your career in this fast paced and varied role, with a focus on your continuing development
- You’ll work from home some of the time, but you’ll also spend a minimum of two days a week working in the London office

Other key elements of the role are to include:
- Engaging with stakeholders to make sure that our operational risk system’s risk, issues and events are managed, tracked and completed within agreed timescales and correct governance is observed
- Assisting with the monitoring and tracking of outstanding risk issues and events to ensure timely resolution of remedial action plans and governance through appropriate forums
- Understanding the main risks arising in your area of responsibility and how to mitigate them, and escalate where unable to comply
- Assisting with the updating and circulation of early escalation event processes, events and losses in line with policy
- Working on data lineage in our risk management tool Vantage
- Ensuring controls library data is kept up to date and accurate as well as tracking non-compliance
- Utilising Gen AI and data model to ensure all controls in the library are articulated and with accurate and complete data
- Supporting workstream leads with insights, preparing papers and communications to wider audience
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a skilled data analyst with experience of working with risk and controls data, especially using Gen AI and analytics to manage a controls data library in a gatekeeping capacity.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience of working on fast paced regulatory impacted remediations
- General knowledge of how regulatory, political, reputational and environmental risk issues impact a complex financial services business
- A good level of business or operational experience
- Strong data management, MI analysis and presentation skills
- General and project management experience, involving complex process and technology issues
- Broad knowledge of relevant businesses and services and associated technologies
