Are you a strategic planner with a proven track record in project planning? Join our team in Newcastle as a Lead Project Planner for our flexible pipes business. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of complex projects in the oil and gas industry.
Project Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and taking ownership of project schedules from project handover meeting through contract term including maintenance of S-curves, physical progress tables and detailed progress tracking.
- Developing project schedules for bid work, ensuring high levels of liaison with the business master scheduler/ production controllers to ensure bid work can be executed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any deviations or roadblocks.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in project planning processes and tools.
To be successful in this role you need:
- Have proven experience in project planning and scheduling within the manufacturing industry.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have excellent knowledge and understanding of the planning tool Primavera P6.
