As the UK’s leading health and social care software company, we have over 35 years of experience in this field.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of our healthcare IT solutions. In this role, you will work closely with NHS and healthcare partners to manage complex project deliveries from start to finish, ensuring that each project is executed on time, within budget, and to high standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and effective communication. This is a client-facing role where you’ll engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that projects meet client expectations and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple healthcare IT projects, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from planning to implementation.
  • Manage project budgets (up to £300k), timelines, and resources, ensuring project goals are met.
  • Serve as the main liaison for customers, providing regular updates on project progress and handling any queries or issues.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks to maintain smooth delivery.
  • Facilitate project meetings, tracking actions and outcomes to ensure accountability.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including risk logs, change control, and status reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across development, product, and support functions to optimise project outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

What You Bring

  • Proven project management experience, particularly in healthcare or IT implementations.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and budgets up to £300k.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a focus on building lasting relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A strategic mindset with commercial awareness and the ability to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Flexibility for UK-wide travel, as required.

Why Join Us?

At System C, you’ll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to making a difference in healthcare through cutting-edge technology.
