Our client is seeking a Lead Offshore Consent Manager to join their team and lead in the management and delivery of all offshore consents and supporting environmental assessments for the project.

- Management and execution of the consent strategy and project management for all offshore elements required to achieve development consent for the Project
- Reporting to the Consents Team Manager
- Leading and supporting the development of the Offshore Consent Manager
- Management of consultants and liaison with the wider consents and project team
- Providing consenting advice and managing offshore consenting risk for complex workstreams
- Lead engagement with key external stakeholders
- A background and knowledge in offshore wind and/or offshore/marine ecology
- Direct experience of consenting and preferably experience of NSIP/DCO and Marine Licensing processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an innovative approach when addressing consenting issues coupled with a solution minded outset
- Skills to build productive relationships and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- A commercial approach to work, challenging colleagues, stakeholders and contractors to manage risk, achieve viable solutions to consenting issues and support overall project objectives
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to produce high quality work to deadlines and work flexibly to respond to changing priorities
- Work effectively both independently, and as part of the company and wider Renewables team, deputising for senior colleagues and engaging in strategic discussions on complex technical and environmental issues
