This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team and make a real difference to residents most affected by the cost of living crisis. It is an interesting and varied role which would suit someone who enjoys advocating on behalf of vulnerable clients.

Working in the Welfare Rights Service as a member of the Money Advice Team, your role will be to support and advise residents who are struggling with their finances, enabling them to budget more effectively by identifying potential income maximisation and expenditure reduction, prioritise their creditors and suggest appropriate options to deal with their debts.

Previous money advice casework experience is desirable, but we can provide training to the successful candidate if they have transferrable skills.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich as an employer offers a generous benefits package. The posts are offered on a hybrid basis with a requirement to work in our Woolwich office for a minimum of 2 days per week. Woolwich is on the Elizabeth line making us easily accessible to central London.
