The role
The primary role objective of the Floating Maintenance Technician is to provide day to day maintenance for the community and its residents. This role will be covering 4 buildings on the same development in Elephant Castle.
This is achieved through ensuring that all repairs and general maintenance work is completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.

The role
The primary role objective of the Floating Maintenance Technician is to provide day to day maintenance for the community and its residents. This role will be covering 4 buildings on the same development in Elephant Castle.
This is achieved through ensuring that all repairs and general maintenance work is completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.
What will you do?
- Completing all maintenance works at the asset for both internal and external aspects of the buildings, amenities, common areas, public realm and grounds
- Adhering to building standards, health & safety, statutory compliance, repair & maintenance and overall asset functionality
- Supporting the building services maintenance and management regime to ensure the mechanical, electrical and other building services plant and equipment reach their expected life span
- Working with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that sufficient inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials is available at the asset and working with Maintenance Supervisor to order supplies and tools as needed
- Attending all Company’s maintenance training
- A minimum of one years’ experience in a similar role
- Basic working knowledge of grounds/common area maintenance, service requests and apartment preparation
- City & Guilds relevant qualification in Plumbing/Electrical installation
- Must have basic knowledge of HVAC, BMS, building control requirements, fire and environmental control measures and all aspects of Health and Safety regulations in relation to residential building management
- Adapts team in response to changing business strategy, vision or purpose
