MFL Teacher – Secondary School in Chelmsford

We are excited to be working with a well-established secondary school in Chelmsford that is currently seeking a dedicated and inspiring MFL Teacher to join their vibrant team. This full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape the language learning journey of students while cultivating a love for French and Spanish.

Position Overview

The successful MFL Teacher – French & Spanish will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive and engaging curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will have the opportunity to inspire students, fostering both linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness through dynamic teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the school’s ethos.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and enthusiasm for language learning.
  • Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help each student improve and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in the Modern Foreign Languages department to enrich the student learning experience.
  • Stay updated on the latest teaching strategies and developments in French and Spanish education.

Qualifications And Experience

  • A degree in French, Spanish, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience as an MFL Teacher at the secondary level.
