What is a Junior Brand Manager responsible for?

As a member of the Global Marketing team, the Junior Brand Manager will help manage, promote and protect the Franklin Templeton Brand. We are seeking a creative marketer with strong project leadership skills to help the team architect, implement and govern brand and corporate marketing projects with global scope.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Junior Brand Manager?

  • Partnering with cross-functional teams across the firm to implement and manage our brand system across touchpoints and geographies.
  • Managing brand and marketing projects, including developing project plans, gathering requirements, and reporting to key stakeholders and executives.
  • Monitoring materials and communications produced across the firm to ensure alignment with brand standards, including identifying opportunities to enhance our branding
  • Developing and delivering communications and presentations to help support branding and corporate marketing efforts and initiatives.
  • Organizing and promoting key brand assets to ensure visibility and uptake across the firm.
  • Managing relationships with business partners and external agencies including advertising agencies.
  • Providing creative solutions to branding challenges and timely responses to brand-related questions.
  • Tracking and reporting on analytics related to brand and corporate marketing activities and initiatives.
  • Conducting competitor analyses to stay abreast of trends and opportunities with recommendations on how to adjust our strategy as needed
  • Maintaining documentation of all trademarked intellectual property related to our brand.

What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience of working in marketing, branding, or advertising in a highly regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of brand management principles.
  • Understanding of graphic design principles.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Creative thinking.
  • The experience and judgement to make urgent but effective decisions in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work independently and highly accountable for results; participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules and arranges own and team’s activities in accomplishing objectives.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workflow.
  • Excellent business judgement and ethics. Outstanding relationship-building skills.
  • Financial services marketing experience highly preferred, with a strong understanding of investment management and related verticals.
