About The Role
We are seeking a IT Helpdesk Assistant to provide outstanding support to our employees and ensure seamless hardware and software functionality at all times.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, or in-person.
- Resolve technical support issues related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripheral equipment.
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams or vendors, ensuring comprehensive solutions.
- Track, document, and maintain a log of all help-desk interactions, including problem descriptions and resolutions.
- Maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions.
- Conduct IT orientation and training for new employees.
- Collaborate with IT team members to maintain network and system security.
- Assist in managing inventory of hardware and software resources.
- Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on systems and equipment.
- Be part of an on-call rota to cover issues that occur outside of UK core hours.
- Travel to other AerFin locations globally (approximately 10%)
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and the ability to explain solutions in user-friendly terms.
- Willingness to continue learning and adapting to new technologies.
