Overview

What will you be doing?

The Head of Performance Experience is a senior figure within Performance , leading the SEO department (SEO, content & UX). They will lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering industry leading solutions and driving excellence in client performance.

This role will be responsible for owning the P&L and growth of the Performance Experience / SEO department, owning senior client engagements, integration into the business and staying at the forefront of the industry.

This is both an outward and inward looking role, requiring both external facing profile building and behind the scenes leadership to generate new business, retain and grow clients, nurture and develop a leading department and improve across all key metrics.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities across three key areas:

Product

You recognize that driving growth comes through having the best product in the industry. You will:

  • Develop a range of products and solution that can be taken to existing clients and the wider market that are industry leading, demonstrating innovation & growth
  • Bring PerfExp truly into the fold within a media agency context, unlocking the next era of growth for the department & clients
  • Evangelise the SEO product internally to clients, across the Groupe and externally to the wider industry.
  • Nurture and grow a team and enrich the careers of all talent and deliver on the objectives of the business.
  • Be at the forefront of marketing, media/marketing and broader industry developments, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and development at all levels within the team.
  • Co-ordinate with BDs and leadership figures to constantly iterate new client products and bring the outside in

Revenue

You will have a razor focus on revenue growth. You will:

  • Own the revenue and profitability across all clients
  • Be accountable for diligent and well informed forecasting across all of your accounts.
  • Identify and ensure your team are able to identify lateral and organic growth opportunities
  • Lead new business initiatives and cross sells to clients
  • Create new prospects through networking and external recognition

Client Experience

You will be an expert communicator able to talk to anyone from a new starter to the CMO of a prospective client

  • Be the senior client confidant and point of escalation
  • Pro-actively seek out new opportunities through your network and through attending networking and new business events.
  • Senior client stakeholder management
  • Craft long standing relationships with leading industry figures
  • Have clear roadmap of client development and communications - a to > from structure of account development

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • Deep SEO expertise and ability to convey complex ideas in a digestible fashion
  • Understanding how SEO & related services connect & integrate into media
  • Strong commercial understanding and ability to accurately forecast, report and reconcile revenue
  • Leadership level communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to inspire and drive towards an ambition, bringing people with you on the journey

Please note this is a 12 months maternity cover (fixed term contract).
