As we continue to expand our market presence and drive growth, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales team and accelerate our revenue generation efforts.

Role Overview: As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing our sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives. You will lead a high-performing sales team and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify market opportunities, penetrate key accounts, and drive customer acquisition across our core banking, wallet, payment service provision, and open banking offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's business goals and market dynamics. Identify target market segments, customer personas, and competitive positioning strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional results. Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performance sales culture.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, focusing on both new customer acquisition and existing account expansion. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, technology partners, and industry organisations. Collaborate with partners to create joint value propositions and drive revenue synergies.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives. Leverage market insights to identify new business opportunities and drive product innovation.
  • Sales Operations: Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance analysis to track progress against targets and drive continuous improvement. Implement sales enablement tools and processes to streamline the sales cycle and enhance productivity.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the fintech or financial services industry, with at least 10 years of experience driving revenue growth and building high-performing sales teams. Prior experience selling core banking, wallet, payments, or open banking solutions is mandatory.
  • Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals.
  • Leadership Skills: exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team of sales professionals. a proven track record of building and leading high-performance sales teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strategic Vision: A strategic thinker with a clear vision for driving revenue growth and market expansion. Ability to analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and drive business results.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts and value propositions effectively to diverse audiences, including C-level executives, technical stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
