The Enterprise division is a fully integrated division that designs & delivers innovative products & brilliant experiences for our members & advisers. The Head of Product role brings together all the facets of product management (content, design, UX and ownership) that underpin the basis of our journey experiences to create a centre of excellence across a full end to end set of customer experiences that support not only the future operating model of Enterprise but the wider Vitality group.
The Head of Product will be a knowledgeable leader who manages this critical function and works closely with their aligned Journey Director to ensure that our delivery cycles are efficient and that their customer journeys are effortless, industry leading and measured to provide a truly customer centric and seamless experience. The Head of Product will define the medium to long term product strategy by translating the journey strategy into their own development roadmap based on the strategic goals and be responsible for executing that roadmap in collaboration with their engineering counterparts to achieve the journey OKRs.

Key Actions
- Define product vision and strategy. You will formulate an inspiring vision and strategy for our customer experiences. Depending upon journey alignment this could be across Advisers, Employers, Prospects, Members or Providers. Build and lead a product team. You will front a cross functional experience squad made up of Product Managers/Owners, Product Designers and Content Designers that drive adoption, engagement and sentiment outcomes across a broad range of end to end customer experiences.
- Define, measure and report on product performance. Work cross functionally to define and own the end-to-end product measures of success and reporting for your journey. You’ll establish clear product goals and performance KPIs, ensuring clear alignment to business strategy and commercial outcomes. Demonstration of effective understanding of all customer pain points within your aligned experience stack with pro-active identification of solutions/initiatives to mitigate. Roadmap planning and execution. Taking accountability for ensuring your aligned customer experiences and product backlogs/roadmaps are available, defined, prioritised, maintained and supported as well as ensuring that are always aligned with the key strategic journey OKRs. Ideally you will define, prioritise and execute the medium to long term (6 - 12 month) product roadmap, translating an agreed vision and product strategy into prioritised initiatives and delivery plans.
- Personal Delivery. Taking personal accountability for supporting Rapid Ideation activities that are generated within your allocated journey experiences with committed participation within the Scaled Agile rollout across Enterprise and achieving certification / re-certification Coach, develop and mentor. You will develop your team of experience professionals, ensuring continuous people development that inspires and delivers high performance.
