Due to the continuing success of Waylands, we are growing our Marketing team and are recruiting a Marketing Administrator to be based at our office in Oxford. Although previous experience is preferred, we are looking for someone who is organised, curious about the business and our industry, can help us produce well-worded content and builds great relationships with stakeholders.
The Marketing Administrator will be responsible for supporting our wider marketing team to create, maintain and expand company presence and visibility across all our brands. You would be entrusted with ensuring that good data administration and customer marketing preference processes are observed and adhered to. Further to this, at peak periods, the role will assist the marketing team in updating our websites to reflect our current marketing campaigns in an accurate and timely manner.

The Marketing Administrator will be responsible for supporting our wider marketing team to create, maintain and expand company presence and visibility across all our brands. Further to this, at peak periods, the role will assist the marketing team in updating our websites to reflect our current marketing campaigns in an accurate and timely manner.
What’s the Job?
- To update the Dealer Management System (DMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System to reflect changing customer marketing preferences, as a result of marketing activity.
- To extract data from our DMS and CRM Systems based on parameters supplied by the marketing team, to enable campaign execution.
- To undertake competitor benchmarking after promotional offers are created to ensure the competitiveness of offers.
- To ensure that best practice in relation to the management of customer records is adhered to.
- To support the Head of Marketing with the fulfilment of data subject access requests.
- To help ensure our website is up to date with the latest promotional offers across our brand portfolio, and that all offers are checked for accuracy before publishing.
- To assist with the production of campaign landing pages according to a brief delivered by our marketing team, to ensure effective campaign delivery.
Essential
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
- Good organisational, planning and time management skills
- Logical and critical problem solving ability
- Command of the English language with excellent attention to detail
- Works well independently
- Ability to relate to stakeholders at all levels, both within the business and externally
- Previous marketing experience including creating content in highly regulated industries
- Working knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations
- Experience within the automotive industry
- Educated to A Level of equivalent, ideally in Business Studies, Marketing or a related discipline
- Working hours of Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm (40 hours per week).
- Salary of £28,000 per annum
- 31 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays)
