Starting Salary: £26,500

Duration: 2 years

Join Siemens for a 2-year rotational programme. This is more than just a job – It’s a chance to explore the UK and become a qualified accountant whilst working for Europe's leading engineering and technology company.

Did you know we’re scrapping the CV? We believe skills can be developed, and potential can be nurtured. We’re not so interested in what you’ve done – we care most about who you are and what you can do. Your CV will still need to be attached but it will not be seen by a hiring manager until the selection process has been completed.

What would my working day be like?

You are encouraged to be in the office most of the time, as we believe this dynamic environment is the best place to learn, network and have fun whilst being an early careers professional.

Here’s a taste of what your programme looks like:

As a Finance and Commercial Graduate at one of our UK sites, you'll dive right into the core of our organisation. No coffee runs or sidelines here – you'll gain hands-on experience from day one, setting you up for success.

Embark on two 12-month placements within various UK-based offices, the locations of which will be decided by Siemens however we will ensure you are supported with a £2500 relocation allowance each time you are required to move. But that’s not all, you will also gain a professional accounting qualification and with every level successfully passed you will receive a salary increase of between £1000-£3000 (depending on the level) complementing your practical work experiences and upon successful completion of the programme, you will be primed for an exciting career at Siemens.

Each placement and business area varies but your daily duties can include but are not limited to:

  • Using SAP to analyse current Siemens financial data.
  • Using Excel to build financial reports and guide financial performance.
  • Supporting the wider finance team specifically Management and Project Accountants.
  • Studying towards your accounting qualification or other training & development courses.

What qualifications do I need to apply?

  • Gained or on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in a Finance/Accounting Degree.
  • Experience working within a finance-related department would be advantageous but not crucial.
  • You approach problems with clear logic, are eager to self-learn and research, and consistently adopt a forward-thinking mentality.
  • You demonstrate the ability to work independently, safely, and responsibly. You own your challenges and ideas, and you are eager to enhance your skills in driving and leading change.
  • You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.

What is in it for me?

Through working at Siemens, you will have access to a wide range of benefits.

Siemens offers 26 days of paid holiday and we embrace our corporate responsibility, offering 5 paid volunteering days that allow you to make a meaningful impact. We also offer discounts on everyday spending as well as subsidised gym memberships and more.

From day 1, you will be given the right tools for your job, such as a laptop and mobile phone.

To celebrate completing your early careers programme, you will also be invited to our Early Careers Gala!
