We are currently recruiting for a Facilities and Estates Technician to join the Facilities team. The purpose of this role is to carry out facility fabric repairs and grounds maintenance.

Our Facilities teams lead various buildings and infrastructure changes across all our workplaces. This includes external and internal redevelopment projects, equipment maintenance and repairs while ensuring our premises remain secure, safe and clean for our employees to work.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

  • To investigate, analyse and repair faults and maintenance across all sites, respond to breakdown, fault and service request calls, and assist other tradesmen in completing diagnostic work and carry out any remedial work.
  • Plan, schedule and perform preventative and corrective maintenance across the estate.
  • Ensure the facility and environment remains safe and secure by both reporting and completion of Health and Safety improvements.
  • Build fabric maintenance through consistent repairs and maintenance of the building fabric, fixtures and fittings.
  • Perform routine landscaping and grounds maintenance across the estate. Including, but not limited to, weeding, leaf clearance, trimming hedges and litter picking.
  • Movement and installation of furniture when required for events, or site moves and changes.

We are looking for:

  • Previous hands-on work experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
  • Happy to be self-sufficient throughout the day.
  • Possession of a full and clean driving license.
