Position

The eCommerce Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and driving sales growth across major online retail platforms. This role involves developing and executing business plans, promotional strategies, and brand page designs to enhance our online presence and maximize revenue.

The ideal candidate will have eCommerce experience in the beauty sector with the ability to develop into a senior leadership role.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and budgets.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to inform pricing strategies and promotional tactics.

Account Management:

  • Manage and grow accounts with key online retailers such as Amazon, Zalando, and others in the beauty and health space.
  • Develop strong relationships with retailer contacts to drive business development and promotional opportunities.

Promotional Strategy

  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns to increase product visibility and sales.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and optimize brand pages on retailer websites.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance to refine strategies and improve ROI.

Commercial Capability

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with online retailers to maximize profitability.
  • Manage pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Track and analyse retailer metrics to inform business decisions and strategies.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless logistics and order fulfilment.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.


Requirements

  • Experience in ecommerce management, with a strong focus on the Amazon and leading pure-players.
  • Proven track record of driving online sales and achieving targets in the beauty or FMCG sector.
  • Understanding of the European ecommerce landscape, including key market trends and consumer behaviours.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, with strong negotiation and pricing skills.
  • Proficiency in using ecommerce platforms such as Shopify and Amazon Seller Central.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in a sales-focused role, with a strong understanding of online retail metrics and performance indicators.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
