Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation, is seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to join their innovative team. If you have a passion for social media, content creation, and brand engagement, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! As the Digital Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns. You will have a strong focus on social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, using your creativity and marketing knowledge to create engaging and compelling content.

Duties

• Create engaging and compelling content for social media posts, including graphics and videos that capture the attention of the business' followers.
• Monitor the social media accounts for comments, messages, and inquiries, responding promptly to build the following and foster positive engagement.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to support adhoc design or admin tasks and ensure the smooth running of the marketing team.
• Consistently brainstorm and create content and reels for the Instagram and TikTok accounts, keeping the business' followers entertained and informed.
• Develop eye-catching visual assets for social media, the website, events, and other company documentation/presentations.
• Keep the company website up-to-date by making small text or design edits to webpages, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practises in social media marketing and content creation, bringing fresh ideas to campaigns and strategies.
• Assist with the organisation of promotional events and digital marketing campaigns, helping to spread the word about the business.
• Build the following on all social platforms by implementing effective growth strategies.
• Support the gathering of social media and website stats for the monthly reports, providing valuable insights into the marketing efforts.
• Create, organise, and update design templates for the business, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
  
  

The ideal candidate

• Previous experience in marketing, social media management, or content creation is preferred
• Creative thinking and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
• A good understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools.
• Knowledge of analytics tools to track performance.
