Meta Reality Labs is seeking an experienced and data-driven Regional Demand Planner to cover all demand planning activities for EMEA. This position will require cross-functional coordination across several groups, with an emphasis on partnering with Sales Account Managers, Channel Inventory Operations, Marketing and Finance. The successful candidate will combine strategic planning and decision making with deep data analytics and insights. The ideal candidate will be passionate about VR/AR and consumer hardware, have a demonstrated interest in data and technology, work well independently, be highly analytical and demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate highly complex topics to a broad audience. This role will challenge the candidate to understand and impact many facets of hardware business strategy, including sales planning, financial forecasting, strategic pricing, trade marketing, sales and supply chain analytics.

Demand Planner Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales account managers, category managers, data analysts and business unit marketing teams to drive accurate demand planning and identify growth initiatives based on robust forecast models.
- Forecast and track weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales performance of RL products.
- Own the actuals vs forecast and goal performance analysis, drive identification of root causes and plan mitigation measures for gaps in performance.
- Share forecast assumptions and impact of strategic activities to forecast outcomes to broader organization and various stakeholders.
- Drive implementation of tools and techniques for continuous forecast accuracy improvement by analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, dependencies, correlations, and creating future outlooks based on that.
- Partner with supply chain and channel operations teams to impact production, launch, and allocation decisions.
- Partner with marketing and finance teams to impact and evaluate pricing and promotion strategy across the entire portfolio of products and assess new markets for business growth.
- Present outcomes at reviews with business leaders across Meta Reality Labs.
- 7+ years of demand planning experience in Consumer Electronics or in CPG/FMCG industries
- Intermediate level of Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with forecasting tools (e.g. Anaplan, Algo, e2open, Logility etc.)
- Experience in problem solving individually and, in a group setting and knowledge of financial drivers of the business
- Experience in presenting to sales leadership
- Experience with statistical forecasting methods and forecast accuracy metrics
- B.S. or M.S. in business-related or quantitative field (Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Math, Engineering, or similar discipline)
- Advanced level of Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience in shifting priorities, while maintaining organization and control
- Experience in SQL/Tableau/Power BI/visualization tools
- Experience in consumer electronics businesses
- Experience of communicating insights gained from data with clarity and impact
