Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Applications are welcome for the above fixed term, full time (40 hours per week) post based in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
The post is designed to provide specialist advanced clinical experience in obstetrics and gynaecology whilst contributing to the third tier of the doctors in training rota. The working pattern would include protected time for additional specialised experience and projects available within this tertiary O&G care setting. This would be suitable for a senior trainee/ post CCT doctor / consultant looking to gain further experience and enhance their CV. Particular specialised interest areas can be negotiated, available opportunities include robotic surgery, gynae-oncology, early pregnancy, pre-term birth, obesity in pregnancy, maternal medicine, maternity risk management, assisted conception, including scanning and quality improvement.
The post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised for training.
