Position: Business Intelligence Lead, CONNECT Platform Commercialisation

Location: London/Cambridge, United Kingdom (3 days at the office)

The Job

The Business Intelligence Lead will be responsible for supporting commercial performance of our CONNECT platform services through analysis & data insights, thus being a key change agent in driving actionable, data-based decision-making. This role will work with different teams to coalesce data from multiple commercial sources and utilise reporting & analytical tools to generate detailed information and statistics to identify trends, efficiencies and new opportunities or risks related to the commercialisation of AVEVA’s industrial platform services.

Responsibilities

  • Work with CONNECT platform leadership team to define measures of success, enable tracking of those metrics and analyse metrics on a monthly basis to identify areas of opportunity and actionable insights.
  • Identify business KPIs and metrics reporting requirements, document the requirements and work with the cloud/product data and analytics team to ensure the business is able to track these performance metrics from a variety of sources (SFDC, Oracle, Gainsight, CONNECT, etc.). Execute user acceptance tests for the reports and dashboards created.
  • Perform ad-hoc business performance and account specific analytics, synthesise insights and present identified trends, gaps & opportunities to internal senior stakeholders to drive data-driven discussions and decisions.
  • Work with CONNECT product management to understand product capabilities and customer value; understand product usage information and provide feedback on product telemetry requirements to enable effective analytics of product adoption and commercial performance.
  • Collaborate with global pricing & licensing team to develop commercial packing & pricing alternatives; and gather customer & market data to deliver projections, revenue impact and other analytical insights of the commercial model proposal.
  • Potentially engage in strategic large deals and strategic partnerships to drive data analysis to define the impact of discount and commercial conditions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferred in data science)
  • Experience in SaaS and subscription business (experience in platform business model is a plus)
  • Strong background in business analytics and critical thinking
  • Demonstrated aptitude to successfully gather and executing report requirements
  • Ability to navigate, facilitate and influence across senior stakeholders to establish buy-in and agreement
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of BI platforms, ERP and CRM applications required

Hybrid working
