BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - LICENSING SALES TEAM
£32,000 - £36,000 + Commission + Share Options
(First Year Commission average is £10,500 but uncapped)
London Based (Victoria Station) with Travel & Remote up to 2 days per week.

Founded in 2020, Sessions has since launched and scaled 10 food brands, partnered with 300+ licensee kitchens and delivered over 3 million orders. We are now expanding into the franchising space at speed, using our own technology to grow our brand portfolio into high streets all over the UK.
Our portfolio includes crowd favourites such as SoBe Burger and Little Bao Boy, as well as brands from market leaders in the food space, such Kenny Tutt’s Patty Guy (of Master Chef fame) and internationally acclaimed menus like Ivan Ramen (seen on Netflix’s Chef’s Table).
Sessions is led by former executives from Deliveroo, Brewdog and Soho House and is
backed by industry leading investors Imbiba and Guinness Ventures.

About The Role
You will play a pivotal part in the growth of Sessions as we continue on our mission to bring our food brands to every neighbourhood across the UK.
Using your knowledge of the UK-based food scene, your primary responsibility will be to proactively research, identify and approach new operator partners looking to operate our brands from their kitchens. You will need to build rapport with stakeholders and ultimately sell in the value of a partnership with Sessions. You will then support these accounts through the onboarding and launch process, before working closely with the account management and culinary teams, to ensure their success and profitability as they move into your region.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will collaborate with other Business Development Managers within your team, as well as colleagues across marketing, partner success and growth.

About The Role

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Identifying and prospecting leads within the hospitality sector, ideal for supporting the growth of our brands
- Approaching these leads through cold-calling, field sales and email campaigns
- Managing your pipeline end to end, from pitching our model to closing the deal through face-to-face and/or virtual meetings, to sign-up new partner operators (restaurants, pubs, dark kitchens, takeaway shops) who will operate our brands from their existing kitchens
- Using our CRM system (Hubspot), giving visibility to management team of your progress
- Ensuring we have coverage of your whole region using tools provided, to analyse the data and prioritise the best zones first
- Build a tight relationship with the wider team to maintain partner quality and to upsell the addition of new brands
- Be the eyes and ears of what’s happening on the ground and use this insight to influence and contribute to the business strategy
- Get up to speed quickly with our model, to deliver 4+ hosts per month once fully onboarded
- Experience: At least 1 year of sales or commercial experience. Even if not directly experienced (yet), you should thrive in cold-outreach and building relationships from scratch.
- Degree achieved from a top university
- Street hustler prepared to ‘get stuck in’ and do what it takes to close deals
- A relentless work ethic, drive to succeed and competitive edge
- Strategic and analytical thinker, able to elevate the business from the day-to-day where appropriate
