Our client, a well-established and respected growing business in the Construction Manufacturing industry, is in need of a Business Account Manager to join their team. With a strong customer base of Clients and Contractors throughout the region, our client is looking for someone who can manage existing key accounts while also seeking out new opportunities. Target markets include Social Housing (new build and refurbishment), BTR/PRS, and Student accommodation.
As the Business Account Manager, you will report to the National Sales Manager and be responsible for providing professional account management to existing customers. This will involve maximising revenue from existing accounts, accurately forecasting requirements, and actively managing prices to achieve commercial targets. You will also handle day-to-day problem-solving and issue resolution, while developing new business opportunities in line with company objectives.
Building strong and lasting working relationships with customers and internal departments will be a key part of this role. You will need to be organised and efficient in managing your time and diary for the maximum benefit to the business. Additionally, you will always represent our client professionally, while protecting the reputation and commercial interests of the organisation.
To succeed in this role, you will need successful B2B sales experience, preferably dealing with Contractors and/or Construction Clients. Knowledge of procurement frameworks and routes to market would be advantageous. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively and efficiently in the field. Good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude are also important, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Our client offers a competitive salary ranging from 40,000 to 45,000 per annum, plus a car allowance. While this is a field-based position, office space is available on-site if required. If you have the desire to succeed and make a difference, this is the opportunity for you!
